Announcing the 2010 State Convention of the Constitution Party of North Carolina

CHARLOTTE (July 28) -- We are pleased to announce the 2010 State Convention of the Constitution Party of North Carolina will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina August 27-28, 2010. The Convention will take place on the campus of Calvary Church of the Nazarene located at 4000 North Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28205. We invite all to come out to the Convention to learn about our emerging political party and how you can help make the Constitution Party of North Carolina a success in our generation.

On Saturday, August 28, 2010, starting at 10:00 AM, we will hold the General Convention that will feature several great speakers and entertainment. Former Congressman Virgil H. Goode will deliver the keynote address along with a great lineup of other speakers including the Jim Clymer, Chairman of the National Constitution Party, Sean Haugh, Executive Director of the Free & Equal Foundation, Dr. Ron Baity, President of Return America and Catherine Anne Heath, Founder of StopNCAnnexation. The patriotic singing group The Singing Men of America will provide entertainment on Saturday throughout the day.

On Friday, August 27, 2010, starting at 11:00 AM, we will hold the business end of the Convention. Only members as explained on the Party's website are allowed to actively participate in the business end and elections of the Party or the platform convention. Visitors are welcome to attend the business session on Friday. In order to attend the Convention individuals must register and pay the required registration fee. Early Registrations are $15.00 and must be received online or postmarked with payment by August 20, 2010. Late-Registration is $25.00 and can be submitted anytime on or after August 21, 2010 or at the door on either day of the Convention. The registration fee covers both days of the Convention.

We are proud to announce that on Friday, separate from the Convention, that the Constitution Party of North Carolina will be hosting the Reggie Saddler Family in concert on August 27, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Calvary Church of the Nazarene; doors will open at 6:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased online on our website or by calling the Party. Tickets are $10.00 anytime before the day of the Concert and $13.00 at-the-door; children five and under are free. All proceeds from the concert will go to benefit the Constitution Party of North Carolina.
